Screen Systems Degreaser | 5505 Series

A unique light bodied detergent that can be applied with a spray bottle. Will suds lightly when brushed, and easily washes off with a light spray of water. Use with all emulsions and films. Degreaser removes oil residues which interfere with adhesion to the mesh. Areas which are contaminated, even by skin oils from fingerprints, will break down prematurely if not degreased.

NO. 2 Ulano Microgrit Mesh Prep

Fine (18-20 microns) roughening powder abrades fabrics. Powder is sprinkled on to wet polyester or nylon fabric, then rubbed in with a rag to slightly roughen the surface. This the adhesion of films and emulsions. Easily removed with low pressure water.

Ready-to-use foam-action degreaser. A heavy syrup type liquid that is brushed into stretched fabric. Rinses with water.

ULANO #23 Abrader/Degreaser

Use with indirect and capillary films. Mesh Abrader/Degreaser Gel will cut the screen mesh to give it "tooth" to improve adhesion of films. Use only on new fabric. Better than dry powder abraders which are inhalable.

Use with capillary films. A uniform sheeting of water on the surface of the mesh will yield uniform adhesion to films. Dry spots on the mesh will cause weak "blistered" spots.
