Squeegee Handles

When ordering a squeegee holder always specify:
1. Length -

Indicate the size needed up to 12'. Other custom-cut sizes are available. The squeegee must be long enough to completely cover the image, leaving one to two inches around the edges of the frame.

2. Height -

Generally the height of the handle is predetermined according to manufacturer's specifications. The handle heights available from the detailed specification charts.

3. Blade -

The type of blade, including composition, durometer, edge, and most importantly, size and thickness, should be specified when ordering a corresponding handle. The handle must hold the blade firmly, and be designed specifically for the thickness of the blade.

4. Stock -

Handles are available in both wood and metal.

5. Press -

Specifications - When ordering a squeegee holder designed for the use with a screen printing press, always specify the make of the press, model and serial number as well as the printing material.

All-Aluminum Contoured Squeegee

All aluminum contoured squeegee handles are made for permanent use with telescopic bolts for easy squeegee rubber replacement. The adjustable rod in the center top of the handle can be extended out for resting on frame sides. Handle is similar in shape to a classic 2 wood handle. Blade not included.

Aluminum Telescopic Fastening Bolts

The ideal fastener for squeegee blades, they are rust proof and easy to assemble. The screw turns into the telescopic nut so that nothing rough protrudes. Select the proper length range for your handle (1” to 1-1/4” is usually best for classic wood handles.

Squeegee Sharpening Garnet

Sharpens all square edge squeegee blades. An Extra heavy, hard surfaced garnet provides Squeegee Sharpening g a sharp abrasive for sharpening to the proper fineness. Staple to plywood to keep flat and firm. Standard with six inches, sold by the yard.
