White Sable brushes, originally by Robert Simmons, are the original synthetic filament blend developed for fine art applications in watercolor, acrylic and oil. The unique tapering process duplicates the characteristics of pure red sable hair with a full belly, precise point and high degree of spring.

Oval wash brushes are designed to hold large amounts of color and spread it softly. These brushes do not point, they fan out. Ideal for water color backgrounds.
