<p>Bristlette holds up well to the inherently caustic qualities of solvents and acrylic paint. Made with white taklon filaments, they are slightly firm, making them ideal for acrylic work. Even with the most vigorous painting methods, these brushes maintain their ability to hold a point and crisp edge. Bristlette brushes resist wear and tear far better than the more fragile sable brushes without sacrificing many of the favored characteristics of sable, such as texture and responsiveness. <p>The Princeton 6300 is a better, longer lasting bristle brush that cooperates better than natural bristle across a broad range of mediums. A key advantage of 6300 is that it won't go limp in water! Try that with natural bristle! Modeled on the look and feel of hog bristle, series 6300 is a perfect brush for painters switching from oils to acrylic or water miscible oil. A real workhorse in even heavy bodied acrylics and suitable for use with gels and impasto mediums. Oil painters are catching on to 6300, realizing that it wears much better than natural bristle. Mounted in seamless nickel ferrules, on long dark gray handles.</p>
