Kolorcure Thinner #3 is a low viscosity reactive diluent for use in viscosity reduction and cure speed enhancement of Kolorcure UV curable screen inks and coatings. Additon of this product will often also improve the hardness and mar resistance of Kolorcure UV curable inks and coatings.
While all KOLORCURE inks and coatings are supplied "ready to use," application conditions sometimes arise (i.e. very high speed screen printing) when viscosity reduction is desirable. Additions of 5 to 20 percent Kolorcure Thinner #3 can be employed. However, it can also cause brittleness when used in large amounts (greater than 20%).
CURE SPEED ENHANCEMENT:Kolorcure inks and coatings are formulated "ready to use." However, if their cure speed must be increased above the recommended "cure speed/lamp" recommendations given in our data sheets, Kolorcure Thinner #3 may be employeed.

VISCOSITY REDUCTION: Kolorcure Thinner #3 is a reactive diluent and will reduce the viscosity of formulations. However, it can also cause brittleness when used in large amounts (greater than 20%).
For viscosity reduction only Kolorcure Thinner #2 is recommended. It reduces the viscosity more effectively than Kolorcure Thinner #3 and has less tendency to reduce the flexibility of the cured film.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Stir in 5 to 20% Kolorcure Thinner #3 as needed to enhance the cure speed. If in doubt as to amount to add or its suitability for a particular Kolorcure screen ink or coating, contact your Northwest Graphic Supply Co. representative.
NOTE: Kolorcure Thinners are reactive diluents and become an integral part of the cured ink or coating film. The use of excessive amounts of these products may affect cure speed, flexibility, or adhesion. Once the KOLORCURE screen ink or coating, has been dilueted, the user should verify that the product still performs to their satisfaction.
